Client

Robbins-Gioia (RG) is a government contractor that specializes in MRO consultation and software development.

Challenge

RG had a basic structure in the software for project list management, but did not have a user flow to the application. I was hired to update the appearance of the site, make each page consistent in design, and create a user flow for MRO personas using the tool.

Scope

Update the design and flow of a web app that provided the function for a user to manage their MRO projects.

Role

Two and a half years as lead UI/UX Designer, involved in every aspect of design: Design sprints with stakeholder and devs, mockup and prototype creation (including coding HTML and CSS prototypes to plan responsiveness of components and features), spec handoff to devs, reviewing dev builds to ensure approved design was followed, participating in product planning meetings with leadership.

Result

User flow and consistency improvements, as well as added features to existing pages improved user feedback and achieved pilot programs with new clients.
